About me

My professional foundation comes from the highly selective Experience Design & Production program at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts)

Founded by Walt Disney and known for its interdisciplinary training across theater, dance, film, immersive environments, themed entertainment and collaborative creative practices.

CalArts’ XDP curriculum develops adaptable, technically skilled production artists capable of being an awesome addition to your creative and operations teams alike.

Event Producer

Dapper Event Design

• Designed and executed detailed project plans, inline w/ budgets. timelines and milestone checklists.

• Managed on-site event production, troubleshooting and client revisions.

• Directed teams of 15–20 staff with clear delegation and onboarding training and safety policy strategies

• Adapt quickly to changing production needs, maintaining a professional and guest

Local Production Crew- Live Nation / AEG Concerts

Rhino Staging | 1999- 2006 & April 2025- Current

• Load-in and load-out staging equipment, lighting, audio and video systems

• Rig and secure trusses, motors and chain hoists for lighting and scenic elements

• Build, level and strike stage decks, platform and guest safety devices/ systems

• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and assist with cue-by-cue show operations

• Collaborate with production managers, grips, electricians and audio techs to meet tight schedules while maintaining rigorous safety protocol

Technical Production Supervisor

• Supervisory Roll in corporate AV, lighting, staging and crew operations across 350,000 sq/ft of event space, four Ballrooms, and over 30 meeting spaces.

• Managed equipment pulling ,prepping and setup as well as the technical team timelines and task coordination.

• Ensured compliance with safety regulations while fostering a professional, client-focused environment

• Help ensure events are executed with the highest standards for broadcast and live audiences.

• Designed aspects and operated lighting systems for concerts, theatrical productions, and large-scale events

• large format Video effects projection for themed events, nightly DJ sets

at various nationally recognized venues , providing design & mixing video/ lighting LIVE

Production Support - Broadcast Show | 2003

75 Annual Academy Awards on ABC

• Supported the arrivals and press areas of the 75th OSCARS.

• Worked as the line Producer Gary Kay's assistant and played a key roll in setup, execution and strike of all A/P elements for the Live Broadcast

• Reporting daily to the Kodak Theater Complex in Los Angeles ensuring staging, press bridges, out door decor and floral were as the coordinating producer and manager expected and crews on these teams had real-time info and equipment fulfillment.

• Ensured permits for transportation were used, water and power plants were in order.

• Communicated production info to flora semi tractors - the required staging area lot crews and that the team had the production riders compliments .

• Followed and reported on Safety standards and best practices as required by my leadership team.
